Job Description

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:

• Ensure timely and accurate recording of intercompany transactions

• Investigate and resolve any discrepancies or issues related to intercompany transactions

• To chase for the payment of long overdue accounts by sending monthly Statement of Account to the Accounts payable contacts

• Validates and resolves minor disputes (ex. wrong currency used in invoice, incorrectly billed company), by recommending corrective actions to the appropriate site POCs

• Resolves major disputes (pricing issues, product quality concern, etc) by acting as the intermediary between the accounts payable contact (or purchaser) and the sales team

• To perform cash/netting applications

• To validate the accuracy of cash transactions, verify discrepancies, and resolve reconciling transactions.

• Perform intercompany account reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness

• To collaborate closely and connect with various partners for critical deliverables.

• To generate reports and perform analysis of accounts to resolve potential misrecording of transactions before finalization of financials.

• To maintain audit trail of supporting documents for audit requirements and post Journal entries to restate account balances.

• To apply appropriate internal controls in compliance with Corporate Policies and Procedures (CP&P) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

For This Role, You Will Need:

• Bachelor's degree in Accountancy or any Accounting-related field.

• At least 3 years of work experience in general accounting, majority of which should be in General Ledger/Intercompany performing reconciliations, netting, journal entries, month-end closing activities and audit support.

• Solid understanding of internal control and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) applications, including Oracle and SAP.
