About the Role

As an Electrical Engineer Specialist, you will support the electrical design, planning, and analysis of various BU projects. This role involves in-depth technical work, collaboration across teams, and regular engagement with both internal stakeholders and external partners. Your work will ensure safe, efficient, and commercially viable electrical systems across all project stages.


Key Responsibilities

  • Perform system studies and calculations (e.g., load flow, short circuit, voltage drop, line losses).
  • Develop detailed 2D and 3D electrical drawings and renderings.
  • Prepare electrical design documentation, technical specifications, estimates, and budgets.
  • Assist in equipment selection for substations, distribution lines, and control houses.
  • Conduct technical due diligence and field surveys for project sites.
  • Support the preparation and evaluation of bid documents and supplier offers.
  • Participate in site inspections, project monitoring, and commissioning support.
  • Maintain design databases (e.g., ETAP) and relevant planning data.
  • Coordinate closely with other engineering disciplines to ensure integrated project delivery.
  • Provide technical input for regulatory and development requirements.
  • Adhere to project documentation confidentiality, company policies, and quality standards.

Qualifications

  • Registered Electrical Engineer in the Philippines.
  • At least 2 years of experience in electrical planning, design, or project support.
  • Proficient in using AutoCAD, ETAP, and other electrical design tools.
  • Strong foundation in power systems, substation design, and protection systems.

Preferred Competencies

  • Experience working on large-scale, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
  • Advanced knowledge in preparing 2D and 3D electrical design drawings.
  • Familiarity with LGU, DOE, NGCP, ERC requirements and coordination processes.
  • Exposure to utility-scale developments is a plus.
