Job Overview

The Sales Associate is responsible for driving store performance by achieving sales targets, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining a high standard of store presentation. This role focuses on engaging customers, understanding their needs, and offering suitable product recommendations. The Sales Associate also ensures that merchandise is well-displayed, stocks are properly managed, and overall store operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets for assigned products or categories.
  • Actively engage customers to identify their needs and recommend appropriate products or alternatives.
  • Provide comprehensive product information to help customers make informed purchasing decisions.
  • Deliver an exceptional shopping experience through courteous, professional, and personalized service.
  • Maintain visually appealing store displays and ensure all products are properly tagged and organized according to merchandising standards.
  • Monitor inventory levels, conduct regular stock checks, and coordinate with the store team for timely replenishment of merchandise.
  • Assist in implementing promotional activities, sales campaigns, and marketing initiatives to boost store performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety standards within the store.
  • Contribute to a positive and cooperative team environment by supporting colleagues and sharing best practices.

Qualifications

  • Senior High School graduate or College level.
  • Preferably with at least 6 months to 1 year of experience in retail, sales, or customer service.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a passion for engaging with customers.
  • Knowledge of retail operations and basic inventory management is an advantage.
  • Proactive, reliable, and results-oriented.
  • Flexible to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Willing to be assigned to various store locations if needed.
