Facilities Supervisor

The Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the maintenance, safety, and functionality of all facilities across store locations. This includes supervising repair and maintenance activities, and coordinating with operations, vendors, and mall admins. The role ensures that all physical assets such as mechanical, electrical systems, and plumbing are fully operational to support store performance and guest satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections of stores to identify maintenance needs and hazards
• Supervise corrective and preventive maintenance activities for store facilities
• Ensure timely response and resolution of facility-related issues raised by store teams
• Maintain accurate records of repairs, warranties, and service schedules
• Coordinate and supervise third-party contractors for specialized maintenance services
• Validate scope of work, quotations, and post-service completion reports
• Ensure contractors comply with quality, safety, and company standards
• Support store teams in addressing issues raised during mall inspections or regulatory audits
• Maintain documentation related to maintenance logs, permits, and safety checks
• Assist in budgeting for maintenance and repair expenditures
• Monitor cost-effectiveness of maintenance activities and suggest cost-saving strategies
• Provide weekly reports and updates on facility issues, resolutions, and pending concerns
• Coordinate with Operations or Mall Admin (whichever is applicable) for permits, approvals, and access for repair activities
• Lead and mentor in-house handymen
• Schedule and assign daily tasks, monitor performance, and ensure adherence to protocols.
