To provide students with academic, career, and personal/social guidance to support their overall well-being and success. They assess student abilities, help with college and career planning, provide confidential counseling for emotional or social issues, collaborate with other professionals, and serve as advocates for students and families within the educational system. Key Responsibilities

  • Academic Guidance: Assisting students with course selection, identifying academic strengths, and providing support for poor performance.
  • Career & College Planning: Helping students explore career goals, identifying aptitudes, assisting with college applications, and preparing for job interviews.
  • Personal & Social Counseling: Offering a safe space for students to discuss personal, emotional, or social challenges, and helping them process problems and set goals.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Administering aptitude tests to evaluate student potential and strengths.
  • Collaboration: Working with parents, teachers, and other professionals to address student needs and coordinate support services.
  • Student Advocacy: Championing students' needs and promoting fairness and equal opportunities within the school.
  • Mental Health Support: Identifying students with mental health needs, implementing emergency protocols, and referring them to appropriate mental health resources.

Essential Skills

  • Communication & Interpersonal Skills: The ability to build rapport and communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff.
  • Empathy & Confidentiality: An empathetic approach to counseling and a commitment to maintaining student privacy.
  • Organization: Strong organizational skills to manage multiple students, priorities, and duties.
  • Problem-Solving: The capacity to help students process issues and plan action steps.
  • Advocacy: A commitment to student well-being and equity in the educational system.
  • Must be Guidance and Counseling Licensed.
  • With master's degree in school counseling or a related field would be a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php23, Php30,000.00 per month
