Bid Specialist

Job Description:

A Bid Specialist plays a role in securing new business by managing the end-to-end bidding process for contracts, particularly with hospitals, clinics, and government procurement agencies. In the medical field, this often involves responding to tenders for surgical instruments, diagnostic devices, or hospital equipment.

• Bid Management: Lead the preparation, coordination, and submission of bid proposals in response to RFPs, RFQs, and tenders.
• Document Compliance: Ensure all submissions meet regulatory and client requirements, especially for government or hospital procurement.
• Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with sales, legal, finance, supplier and technical teams to gather accurate and timely input.
• Market & Competitor Analysis: Research pricing trends, competitor offerings, and procurement cycles in the healthcare sector.
• Proposal Writing: Draft compelling, customized proposals that highlight product value, certifications (e.g., ISO, FDA), and service capabilities.
• Post-Bid Follow-Up: Track bid outcomes, respond to clarifications, and maintain a repository of past submissions for future use.
• Ensuring all deadlines are met.
• Perform other function directed by the immediate superior.

Pre-requisite:

• Degree in any related field.
• With have PCR License (if applicable)
• At least 2-3 years relevant working experience
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
