Who are we looking for?

We're looking for a Geotechnical Engineer to join and contribute to the Mining and Geotechnical Business Group's success through the implementation of geotechnical and engineering projects from proposal phase through to project completion, working within GHD's systems. Working with an energetic and high performing team, this position offers a variety of work and will see you involved in:Apply technical knowledge in the delivery of engineering and geotechnical projects, in your areas of capability. Ensure the accuracy and quality of geotechnical and engineering deliverables and outputs.

Work to agreed budgets and deliver positive financial outcomes whilst balancing quality and timely delivery of project outputs. Contribute to project compliance with GHD's Quality, Risk and HSE requirements. Contribute, establish and maintain effective relationships with clients, Industry networks and Internal networks:Contribute to technical improvement initiatives.

Develop and maintain strong client relationships through listening, responsiveness, effective communication, quality and timely project delivery and reporting in position's capacity

Provide input to proposals under guidance of the Project Director or Senior Geotechnical Engineer. Identify new opportunities through client interactions and insights (e.g. site visits, discussions and meetings). Share these with relevant in-house personnel and provide technical input to develop these opportunities into projects.

Able to manage involvement in several jobs at once and determine priorities. Well-developed communication skills - both verbal and written
