AT A GLANCE

The Product Manager is responsible for the development and launch of Sunnies Flask products. He/She brings life into the ideas and ensures that the brand stays innovative, ahead of the trends, relevant, and sellable. The Product Manager takes ownership of the product development part of the business through a thoughtfully designed assortment and well-considered design. The Product Manager will also see that the rest of the team is guided with proper product knowledge and project management of launch in order to ensure a successful launch. The Product Manager is responsible from ideation to launch of new product launches.

YOUR OVERALL MISSION & DAY-TO-DAY

Strategic Planning and Execution

• Take ownership of the entire Product Development process, working closely with the Sourcing Team and brand counterparts to ensure timely output of work.

• Collaborate with the merchandising, operations, and brand team to help fill in the assortment for Sunnies Flask.

• Establish brand leadership in flask design, features, and colors by taking standards to a higher level for the brand.

• Conceptualize new product launches.

• Ensure products are developed with appropriate COGS, thoroughly researched for market fit, aligned with the brand portfolio, and within the allocated budget.

Product Design and Development

• Manage the selection of optimal materials and styles, ensuring the ideal style, durability, and functionality that fits within the budget for Sunnies Flask and other merchandise, as well as plan yearly developments for the entire assortment.

• Develop a strong portfolio of profitable flask products that expand the existing collection.

• Oversee the quality assurance and product story for Sunnies Flask.

• Direct the team of Product Designers, and design and render the products as needed

• Lead Job Order management for new product launches to ensure a start to end management of new product launches.

Project and Team Management

• Deliver projects within the agreed timeframes and lead the team to maintain the timelines.

• Accountable for product launches from concept to job order launch management, including store team training.

• Manage product launches with all involved departments to ensure the product is properly represented and launched in the best capacity.

• Assist with staff team knowledge through Operations team training in order for them to efficiently carry out training.

• Commit to proper turnovers of necessary documents to efficiently brief suppliers on new products, designs, and such.

• Work with other team leads to ensure cohesiveness in overall output and brand strategy.

YOUR TALENT (QUALIFICATIONS)

• Bachelor of Art in design, fashion, merchandising or similar field.

• Confident in fashion taste and ability to design

• Proven experience in product management, especially within the fashion or eyewear industry.

• 5-7 years of work experience in design or anything related

• Ability to direct and lead team to execute with exceptional attention to detail

• Proficient knowledge in Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Sketchup, MS Office and other relevant tools are required
