About the role

As a CY Coordinator, you will play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and effective management of the company's container yard operations. This full-time position is based in Lipa City, Batangas and will involve overseeing a team of staff to deliver excellent service to our clients.

What you'll be doing

  1. Coordinating the daily activities of the container yard, including the receipt, storage, and dispatch of containers
  2. Supervising and directing a team of yard staff to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently and to a high standard
  3. Monitoring inventory levels and optimizing container storage to maximize capacity
  4. Liaising with customers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
  5. Implementing and enforcing safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment
  6. Generating reports and analyzing data to identify areas for process improvements
  7. Providing training and development opportunities for the yard team

What we're looking for

  1. Minimum 1 year experience in a supervisory or management role within a container yard or logistics operation
  2. Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
  3. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
  4. Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a focus on continuous improvement
  5. Proficiency in using logistics management software and data analysis tools
  6. Knowledge of relevant safety regulations and the ability to ensure compliance
  7. Flexibility to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
