About the role

Join the team at Polystar General Services' as a Rigger. In this full-time position based in General Trias City, Cavite, you will be responsible for the safe movement and placement of heavy machinery and equipment on construction sites. The role is integral to ensuring the smooth operation of construction projects and the successful delivery of Polystar General Services' services.

What you'll be doing

• Safely attach and detach chains, slings, and other rigging equipment to machinery, equipment, and loads
• Communicate clearly with crane operators, spotters, and other team members to coordinate the movement of loads
• Inspect rigging equipment to ensure it is in good condition and suitable for the task
• Properly store and maintain all rigging equipment
• Adhere to all health and safety protocols to protect yourself and your colleagues
• Assist with the loading and unloading of trucks and other vehicles as needed

What we're looking for

• Minimum 2 years' experience as a Rigger or in a similar role within the construction industry
• Knowledge of rigging techniques, equipment, and safety procedures
• Ability to read and interpret load charts, rigging plans, and other technical documents
• Strong communication and teamwork skills to coordinate with crane operators and other construction personnel
• Commitment to working safely and following all health and safety guidelines
• Physical strength and stamina to perform manual handling tasks
