About the role
APEX Recovery & Physiotherapy Clinic is seeking a talented and passionate Physiotherapist to join our dedicated team in Mandaluyong City, Metro Manila. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive rehabilitation services to our diverse client base, helping them recover from injuries, manage chronic conditions, and improve their overall physical well-being.
Tasks & Responsibilities:
- Meets the patient's goals and needs and provides quality care by assessing and interpreting evaluations and test results, determining physical therapy treatment plans in consultation with physicians or by prescription.
- Performs an initial evaluation/assessment and evaluation to establish a prognosis/plan of care
- Helps patient accomplish treatment plan and accept therapeutic devices by administering manual exercises, instructing, encouraging, and assisting patients in performing physical activities, such as non-manual exercises, ambulatory functional activities, and daily-living activities
- Administers physical therapy treatments by giving soft tissue mobilization; spinal manipulation; microcurrent therapy; shockwave therapy; dry needling; myofascial cupping; vibracussor; applying physical agents; and ultrasound machines.
- Evaluates effects of physical therapy treatments by observing, noting, and evaluating patient's progress, recommending adjustments and modifications.
- Carry out the referring doctor's treatment prescription and further suggest treatments that would benefit the patient
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
- Maintains PT equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements; following manufacturer's instructions; troubleshooting malfunctions; calling for repairs
- Assures continuation of therapeutic plan following discharge by designing home exercise programs; instructing patients, families, and caregivers in home exercise programs; recommending and/or providing assistive equipment; recommending outpatient or home health follow-up programs
- Perform other duties inherent to the position or those assigned from time to time
What we're looking for
- Licensed Physical Therapist (PRC)
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a clinical or hospital setting
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong interpersonal skills and prove team player
- Certifications in advanced PT techniques are an advantage
