Primary purpose is to manage the General Accounting function and support the Finance Manager as required.
To handle the accounting functions required to actively support the company in respect of the professional services and products that offers to its clients to achieve the company's objectives.
JOB DESCRIPTION
- Collate all AP paperwork and cross check data
- Prepare data for entry into the AS (Accounting Software) including: (Petty cash, Payroll, Allowances, Supplier invoices, Others as required)
- Enter data into the AS
- Produce the AP reports.
- File all hard copy documents that have been processed.
- Generate reports from AS for both internal and external reporting as requested by Finance Manager / External Auditor
- Generate manual reports as requested by Finance Manager.
- Process accounts payable journal and payment voucher.
- To assist in the preparation of Financial Statements such as Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss Statements, and Cash Flow
- Maintain Fixed Assets Summary including depreciation and amortization schedules
- To assist in the preparation of Customer Invoice and Statement of Accounts
- Process general journal entries and reconcile general and subsidiary ledgers
- To assist in processing monthly Bank Reconciliation reports
- Process manual / electronic filing in coordination with the external auditor of the following:
Monthly Withholding Tax on Compensation
Expanded Withholding Tax
VAT reporting
Preparation of monthly Alphalist
Supplier as supporting documents
Creditable Withholding Tax Certificate BIR Form 2307
- Proactively review current systems and work procedures and assist in the creation of new or improved systems.
- To resolve queries quickly and effectively as and when they arise, escalating matters to the Finance Manager when required.
- Be alert to issues that could cause problems or potential problems.
Perform any other tasks that you are qualified or trained to undertake as required by Finance manager
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor's degree, Finance / Accountancy
- With minimum 3 years' experience
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
- Ability to work continuously and accurately with figures; perform arithmetic operations and bookkeeping.
- With working knowledge of generally accepted accounting practice and principles and standard office procedures.
- With knowledge of applicable laws, codes and regulations.
- With ability of organizing own work, setting priorities and time management.
- General company administration procedures
- Knowledge of the legal aspects required in the post
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php28, Php32,000.00 per month
