actuarial analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Calculates premium rates for new business corporate accounts based on list of benefits and/or utilization summary from previous provider.
• Computes renewal rates of corporate accounts based on utilization analysis
• Evaluates utilization experience of renewing accounts.
• Prepares monthly report and summary of all franchise applications, new business pricing, and renewing business evaluation.
• Submits a weekly report on the total number of transactions that were priced and released.
• Request for quotation must be acted upon within turnaround time
• Ascertains that all the submitted information were considered before giving a quotation.
• Computes renewal rates of individual, family, group and corporate accounts
• Conducts special actuarial studies for ad hoc reports, data and risk analysis and other pricing related studies.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must be graduate of BS Applied Math, Statistics, Actuarial Science or any math related courses
• Newly graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Good communication skills (both oral and written) analytical skills.
• Related working experience is an advantage but not required.
• Computer literate with proficiency in MS Office applications.
• Willing to work onsite, Monday to Friday, from 8am to 5pm.
