About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Finance Expert to manage and strengthen our financial operations. This role is critical in ensuring accurate payroll processing, maintaining compliance with Australian accounting standards, overseeing NDIS invoicing, and providing valuable financial insights to support business decisions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Oversee and process payroll accurately and on time.
  • Manage NDIS invoicing and ensure compliance with funding requirements.
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely collections and payments.
  • Perform account reconciliations to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Monitor financial performance, implement cost-saving strategies, and ensure effective financial tracking.
  • Prepare and present regular financial reports to management.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting regulations and best practices.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience with Xero accounting software (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of Australian payroll and accounting standards (essential).
  • Previous experience with the NDIS (highly desirable).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
  • Strong communication and reporting skills.
