Quantity Surveyor

Duties and Responsibilities

• Propose value engineering solutions as needed by the project.
• Respond to commercial and contractual issues arising during the project's conduct.
• Ensures payment claims and prepare payment certificates. Monitor status of payments and cashflows projections.
• Forecast project risks and report them to the Project Manager.
• Evaluate contract variations and reconcile them with the contractor.
• Conduct site inspections and monitoring of accomplishments regularly and as required. Familiar with the scope and timeline of the projects handled.
• Coordinate with the Project Team which includes Designers, Project Managers, Engineers, Legal, Finance, and other stakeholders.
• Perform other duties that may be assigned from time to time.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering.
• Licensed Electrical Engineer
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Analytical and meticulous with details.
• Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Time management skills
• Computer literate - advance knowledge with MS Office and Planswift.
• Can perform measurements from plans independently.
• Minimum of 3 years related experience as Quantity Surveyor, Estimator, or Cost Engineer.
• Willing to be assigned in Tagaytay.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 5 months

Pay: Up to Php38,000.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

• Tagaytay City: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)

License/Certification:

• Licensed Electrical Engineer (Required)
