Chemical Technician

About the role

Ferna Corporation' is seeking a dedicated and skilled Chemical Technician to join our team in Navotas City Metro Manila. This is a full-time position where you will play a crucial role in supporting our laboratory and technical operations. As a Chemical Technician, you will be responsible for conducting a variety of experiments, analyses, and tests to ensure the quality and consistency of our products and processes.

What you'll be doing

1. Perform routine and specialised chemical analyses and tests using a range of laboratory equipment and instruments
2. Collect and prepare samples for analysis, following standard operating procedures
3. Record and document test results, maintaining detailed and accurate records
4. Assist in the development and optimisation of new laboratory methods and procedures
5. Contribute to the maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment
6. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address technical issues and support the overall operations
7. Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental regulations within the laboratory setting

What we're looking for

1. Diploma or degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related scientific field
2. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Chemical Technician or in a similar laboratory role
3. Proficient in the use of analytical equipment and instrumentation, such as spectrophotometers, chromatographs, and titrators
4. Strong attention to detail and excellent problem-solving skills
5. Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
6. Excellent written and verbal communication skills
7. Familiarity with quality control and assurance procedures
