Operational Management:

  • Oversee daily bakery operations, ensuring production schedules are met and that products are of high quality.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering ingredients and supplies as needed, and ensuring proper storage to maintain freshness.

Staff Supervision:

  • Supervise and train bakery staff, including bakers, decorators, clerks, and support personnel.
  • Create and manage staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage and operational efficiency.
  • Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to staff, addressing any issues or concerns.

Quality Control:

  • Ensure that all baked goods meet the bakery's quality standards and comply with health and safety regulations.
  • Implement and maintain hygiene and cleanliness standards in the bakery.

Customer Service:

  • Address customer inquiries and complaints in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Ensure a positive customer experience by maintaining high standards of service and product presentation.

Financial Management:

  • Monitor and manage the bakery's target, including controlling costs, losses, wastage while maximizing profitability.
  • Prepare and manage financial reports, including sales, expenses, and profit margins.

Compliance:

  • Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations.
  • Keep accurate records related to food safety, employee health, and other regulatory requirements.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree holder of any field (field of Food Industry, Business Management, Retail Industry, or related field is an advantage.
  • At least three (3) years' experience in related industry (food, retail, business)
  • Ability to administer/supervise group of personnel.
  • With basic to intermediate knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
