Position Summary:

The Cashier is responsible for handling customer transactions, providing excellent customer service, and ensuring accurate and efficient processing of payments. This role requires attention to detail, honesty, and a friendly attitude toward customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Greet customers warmly and assist with inquiries.
  • Handle cash, credit, and other payment transactions accurately.
  • Issue receipts, refunds, and change as necessary.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area.
  • Balance cash drawer and ensure daily sales are properly recorded.
  • Assist in packaging items or serving customers when needed.
  • Report any discrepancies, issues, or concerns to management.
  • Follow company policies and procedures on cash handling.
  • Support other staff in daily operations when required.
Qualifications:
  • Previous cashier or customer service experience is an advantage.
  • Strong numerical ability and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Honest, reliable, and able to handle transactions responsibly.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willing to work flexible hours, weekends, and holidays.
