The MST - Plumber is responsible for the installation, maintenance, repair, and inspection of plumbing systems within residential, commercial, and property facilities. This role ensures that all plumbing works comply with safety standards, building codes, and company policies, providing efficient solutions to maintain tenant and property satisfaction.
Job Responsibilities:
- Install, repair, and maintain water supply lines, drainage systems, and sanitary fixtures.
- Inspect plumbing systems regularly to identify and resolve issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance on pumps, valves, heaters, and other plumbing equipment.
- Troubleshoot and repair leaks, blockages, and low water pressure problems.
- Collaborate with property engineers, electricians, and contractors for coordinated maintenance work. Respond to emergency plumbing issues promptly.
- Ensure compliance with local building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and service schedules.
- Provide cost estimates for plumbing works when required.
- Support renovation or construction projects by handling all plumbing -related tasks.
Maintenance Duties:
- Provide assistance in performing routine maintenance tasks such as painting, carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairs.
Conduct inspections of buildings and other structures to identify and resolve issues.
- Respond to maintenance requests in a timely and professional manner.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other team members to complete the projects and tasks.
- Perform another task as may require.
- Able to use all basic tools and equipment commonly used in residential/commercial construction
Other Duties:
- Assist with special projects and tasks as assigned by the Property Manager
- Provide support to other team members as needed
Job Qualification
- High School Diploma or TESDA/technical certification in Plumbing or related field
- At least 2-3 years of experience as a plumber, preferably in property management or facilities maintenance.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and drainage systems
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and building plans
- Skilled in using plumbing tools, equipment, and testing devices
- Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Physical stamina to perform manual work in different property environments
- Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
- Effective communication and teamwork skills
Licenses & Certifications (preferred)
- NCII Plumbing Certificate (TESDA) or equivalent
- Valid driver's license is an advantage
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: Php20, Php22,000.00 per month
