About the Role

WILL School of Antipolo is urgently needing a passionate and dedicated Shadow Teacher to join our team in Antipolo City, Rizal. As a Shadow Teacher, you will play a crucial role in supporting the academic and personal development of students with special needs, ensuring they receive the individual attention and care they require to thrive. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in the lives of our students.

What You'll Be Doing

1. Provide one-on-one support and assistance to students with special needs, helping them to actively engage in classroom activities and achieve their learning objectives
2. Work closely with teachers and other members of the educational team to develop and implement individualised learning plans
3. Offer targeted interventions and strategies to help students overcome educational, social, or behavioural challenges
4. Maintain detailed records of student progress and communicate regularly with parents and caregivers
5. Collaborate with the broader school community to promote an inclusive and supportive learning environment
6. Participate in professional development opportunities to continuously enhance your skills and knowledge

What We're Looking For

1. Graduate of BS Elementary or Secondary Education and a LICENSED PROFESSIONAL TEACHER, or
2. A related degree in Special Education, Psychology, or similar fields.
3. Proven experience working with students with diverse learning needs, such as autism, ADHD, or other developmental or intellectual disabilities
4. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
5. Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities, with the flexibility to adapt to the unique needs of each student
6. Passionate about making a difference in the lives of students and committed to inclusive education
