Job Description:

  • Implementing changes to job scheduling system
  • Handle scheduling request for jobs modifications and deletions for all applications in both Database and Long Term Plan in Production/Test environment
  • Scheduling application as per request on daily, cyclic, weekly, monthly, yearly with different dependencies type
  • Be able to identify issues related to Scheduling activity and loops when necessary
  • Performing ad hoc request, monitoring and ticket handling
  • Evaluate job flows for projects, BAU or tickets to ensure efficiencies
  • Work closely with application team to provide scheduling solutions using IBM TWS version 9.5
  • Participate in work sessions and walkthrough for quality and production implementation, releases, data conversion projects and/or disaster recovery exercises
  • Able to meet SLA
  • Provide 24x7 support

Qualifications:

  • At least 2 years' experience in Mainframe system operations
  • Experience in using IBM Z Workload Scheduler (TWS)
  • Familiar with Scheduling and Ticketing system (Service Now)
  • Ability to work on Holidays and Weekends as assigned by the work schedule
  • Strong team player, good communication skills both verbal and written
