Brewing Associate

Position Overview:

The Brewing Associate supports the day-to-day brewing operations to ensure the consistent production of Engkanto's craft beers. This role involves assisting the Head Brewer and Assistant Brewer in all aspects of brewing operations, including inventory handling, brewhouse activities, fermentation, beer rest management, filtration, and bottling/packaging.

It is an excellent entry-level opportunity for individuals with a science background who are passionate about brewing and eager to learn.

Key Responsibilities:

• Work closely with the Head Brewer and Assistant Brewer in daily brewing tasks such as brewing, fermentation, filtration, and packaging.
• Prepare and organize ingredients, supplies, and equipment needed for each brew.
• Keep track of raw materials and finished product inventory.
• Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and maintain a tidy work area.
• Assist with receiving raw materials and handling deliveries of finished products.
• Take part in testing new recipes, improving processes, and supporting brewery projects.
• Help ensure equipment is properly maintained by coordinating with service providers.
• Always follow safety and environmental guidelines to keep the workplace safe.
• Report any issues or hazards and suggest ways to improve.
• Carry out other tasks that support smooth brewing operations.

Qualifications

• Background in Food Science, Microbiology, Chemistry, Biology, or related science fields (undergraduate or graduate).
• Experience in brewing, food, or beverage manufacturing is an advantage but not required (training provided).
• Strong interest in craft beer and the brewing process.
• Detail-oriented, with good record-keeping and observation skills.
• Physically fit; able to lift up to 25kg and work on your feet for long periods.
• Team player with a strong work ethic and willingness to learn.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Php18, Php20,000.00 per month
