Duties and Responsibilities:

Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures in buildings and other structures.
Inspect electrical components such as circuit breakers, transformers, and wiring to ensure compliance with codes and safety standards.
Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and components to locate the cause of a breakdown and correct the problem.
Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components.
Read and interpret electrical blueprints, diagrams, and technical drawings.
Test electrical systems and continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, and oscilloscopes.
Plan the layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures based on job specifications and local codes.
Coordinate with engineers, foremen, and other trade workers to ensure proper execution of electrical works.
Perform preventive maintenance to minimize equipment failures and downtime.
Ensure that all electrical works are performed safely and follow company and government safety standards.
Prepare daily reports and material requests related to electrical works.
Support troubleshooting and maintenance of generators, lighting systems, and other electrical devices as needed.
