Duties and Responsibilities:
· Supervise and manage the overall quality control processes in the poultry processing plant, including raw materials, processing, packaging, and finished products.
· Conduct regular inspections and quality checks at various stages of the production process, such as visual inspections, product sampling.
· Collect, analyze, and interpret quality data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement in the production process. Use statistical tools to make data-driven decisions.
· Identify and address any deviations from quality standards or non-conforming products. Implement corrective actions and preventive measures to minimize the occurrence of non-conformities.
· Develop, update, and enforce standard operating procedures related to quality control to ensure consistency and compliance with best practices.
· Train and educate production line workers and other staff members on quality control processes, hygiene practices, and safety measures to maintain high-quality standards.
· Take part in internal audits to assess the effectiveness of quality control processes and make recommendations for improvements.
· Implement and maintain Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP) principles to manage food safety hazards effectively.
· Maintain accurate and detailed records of quality control activities, inspection results, and corrective actions taken.
· Communicate with management, production teams, and other stakeholders to address quality-related concerns, provide feedback, and facilitate continuous improvement.
· Continuously seek opportunities for process optimization, efficiency improvements, and cost reductions while maintaining quality standards.
IV. Key Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree in any food related course
Experience: At least two years of relevant experience in quality control
Special Skills: data analysis, root cause analysis
