About this opportunity
At WSP, we are looking for a FP&A Regional Leader to join our team to play a key role in planning and managing the budgeting and forecasting cycle for the LAC region, and monthly reporting to Group Finance, as well as involvement in projects to improve BI and Reporting at this growing company.

Overall accountability
Reporting to the CFO in Latin America. This is an ideal role for an ambitious and motivated individual looking to start the next stage of their career.

Working within the FP&A team, the role involves liaising with senior colleagues across a variety of business functions, both in the Latin America and globally, to deliver first class financial reporting and analysis, and the opportunity to work on corporate projects and initiatives that impact the entire organization; a strong candidate combines a strong analytical mindset with technical ability and excellent leadership and people skills.    

Responsibilities
Financial Planning & Analysis:


•Leading the annual budget and quarterly forecasting process; liaising with key stakeholders to ensure smooth delivery of the company's financial planning cycle.
•Providing necessary support for the LAC region's monthly, quarterly and annual reporting to Group; liaising with Group Finance in Canada and colleagues across the LAC business to ensure alignment of accounting policies and delivery of timely and accurate information.
•Administration of the budgeting/forecasting tool
•Other responsibilities as requested in line with the development of the FP&A function

BI / Reporting Development:


•Playing a key role in the team responsible for the strategic development of the company's BI and reporting functionality
•Managing data validation for live BI dashboards to ensure accuracy of reported financial information
•Partnering with senior finance leaders and Business Finance teams; identifying opportunities to improve and develop BI solutions to meet the requirements of this dynamic business
•Responding to queries, resolving issues and offering support to the finance community, building confidence in the BI tools and consolidating the reputation of the team as a centre of excellence for BI and reporting.

Requirements


•Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related discipline (Ingeniería Comercial, Ingenería Civil Industrial, Ingeniería en Control de Gestión)
•5 or more years of experience leading management control in similar industries or similar services.
•Fluent in English.
•Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and adapt to a changing, fast-paced environment.
•Superior attention to detail and ability to successfully manage multiple competing priorities while maintaining a view of the big picture.
•Demonstrated ability to influence others through effective verbal and written communication.
•Flexibility, enthusiasm and commitment.
