Quantity Surveyor/Subcontract

Job Description:

• Collect pre-qualification documents and prepare pre-qualification questionnaires for bidders.
• Collaborate with other departments to prepare RFQs, collect bidders' proposals, and coordinate and communicate with them.
• Actively collaborate with the Contracts department to finalize subcontract agreements, LOA/NTP.
• Collaborate with the Cost department to prepare interim and final payments to subcontractors.
• Oversee, monitor, and administer all subcontracting activities for the project throughout the execution phase, starting from subcontract formalization to performance/post-award activities and the handover of subcontracted works.
• Organize kick-off meetings with subcontractors to ensure a clear understanding of all contract terms and obligations.
• Follow up on claims, variations, notices, and correspondence.
• Prepare performance evaluations of subcontractors.
• Manage subcontract closeouts, including takeover and final acceptance certificates.
• Update weekly/monthly reports and tables related to subcontractors.
• Attend Engineer/Employer meetings and collaborate with them.
• Keep the Procurement Plan Follow-Up updated.
• Support procurement as needed.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in Subcontracting, Contracting, and Quantity Surveying (QS) departments.
• Experience working with leading EPC contractors in the railway sector is essential.
• Strong contractual skills and excellent written abilities.
• Effective and efficient verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to perform under stressful situations.
• Capacity to manage workload and pressure.
• Knowledge of cost estimation and risk management.

Software Skills

Good knowledge of ERP software (Oracle) and MS office

Pay: Php35, Php45,000.00 per month
