The IT Support Specialist is responsible for providing technical support, system maintenance, and hardware management across the organization, covering Biggs branches in Albay, Sorsogon, Masbate, Quezon Province, and Batangas. Responsibilities include troubleshooting POS systems, networks, CCTV, office workstations, printers, and PABX systems. The role also involves managing and maintaining IT infrastructure, monitoring performance, and supporting new store development by overseeing IT installations, cabling, and system setup. Additionally, the role will provide user training and technical guidance to staff. Ideal candidates should have experience in IT support, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.

Job Qualifications:

  • Basic knowledge and understanding of Web and Application development.
  • Proven experience in an IT Support or similar role, with a minimum of 2 years in IT support and administration.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, or another 4-year IT-related degree
  • Must be proficient in the following software and hardware: Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 11, ERP System, Sage Software Peachtree 2010, Brother, Canon, HP, and Epson Printers
  • Understanding of industry-standard software and equipment, including POS systems, kitchen display systems, and other POS components.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Analytical mindset and problem-solving abilities, with the capacity to identify root causes of technical issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Proficiency in performing routine updates, patches, and system maintenance to keep restaurant technology functional and secure.
  • Ability to manage local network configurations, and Wi-Fi connectivity, and troubleshoot network issues that impact restaurant operations.
  • Expertise in diagnosing and resolving issues with POS systems, kitchen display screens, payment terminals, and other restaurant technology.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced level in troubleshooting and repair of POS, CCTV, Sound System, Laptops, and other office IT equipment.
  • Advanced skills in office printer troubleshooting and repair.
  • Average to advanced skills in board level electronics repair.
  • Average skills in MS Office applications to be used for reporting tasks.
  • Good communication skills.
