GENERAL PURPOSE
- The SOPC Analyst – Backend is responsible for monitoring, analyzing, and enhancing store-level backend operations, including inventory management, stock handling, storage standards, compliance, and supply chain alignment. The role supports the standardization and optimization of backend processes to drive operational efficiency, minimize inventory variances, and improve store-level accuracy and productivity.
- The position works closely with Store Operations, Inventory Planning, Distribution, and Audit teams to uphold GOLDEN ABC's commitment to operational excellence and supply chain integrity.
JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Inventory and Stock Management Analytics:
- Monitor and analyze backend performance indicators such as stock variances, aging inventory, receiving accuracy, and backroom efficiency.
- Prepare reports and dashboards that track backend execution, delivery turnaround, and stock handling metrics.
- Identify recurring issues and inefficiencies in store inventory processes and propose corrective actions.
Backend SOP Compliance and Development:
- Support the documentation, update, and dissemination of standard operating procedures (SOPs) for backend functions including receiving, storage, transfers, stock auditing, and inventory reporting.
- Conduct backend SOP compliance checks and collaborate with Audit and Loss Prevention teams on variance root cause analysis.
- Recommend backend process enhancements and assist in the pilot rollout of new procedures or tools.
Tool Development and Data Support:
- Assist in the creation or refinement of backend operations tools (e.g., stock ledger templates, receiving logs, transfer checklists, and variance trackers).
- Ensure proper encoding, consolidation, and maintenance of backend data for store-level decision-making and audit purposes.
Store Support and Field Engagement:
- Provide analytical support during backend audits, inventory counts, and store backroom reviews.
- Conduct field visits to assess backend workflow effectiveness and gather on-ground feedback.
- Collaborate with Store Leads and Area Managers to build backend execution capability in stores.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Retail Management, or related fields.
- At least 1–2 years of experience in retail operations, sales analytics, or store performance tracking.
- Prior exposure to frontline store management, store auditing, or SOP documentation is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, and dashboard/reporting tools
- Working knowledge of store operations processes and frontline systems (POS, inventory, manpower scheduling tools)
- Familiarity with SOP development and implementation
- Strong communication and documentation skills
