About the role
Phil Wave Boat Builder Co. Ltd., a leading manufacturer of high-quality fiberglass boats, is seeking a skilled Fiberglass Technician to join our dynamic team in Tanza, Cavite. This full-time role is crucial in supporting our production processes and ensuring the delivery of exceptional quality products to our customers.
What you'll be doing
- Fabricating and assembling fiberglass boat components using various techniques such as lay-up, moulding, and finishing
- Preparing and finishing moulded fiberglass components to specified standards
- Carrying out repairs and maintenance on existing fiberglass boat structures
- Adhering to safety protocols and quality control measures throughout the production process
- Collaborating with the wider manufacturing team to optimise production efficiency and identify areas for improvement
- Participating in ongoing training and development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
What we're looking for
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in a fiberglass manufacturing or assembly role, preferably within the boat building industry
- Strong understanding of fiberglass fabrication techniques, including moulding, lay-up, and finishing
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent manual dexterity and attention to detail
- Commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and safety
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new techniques and technologies
- Good teamwork and communication skills
