We are seeking a motivated Industrial Engineering Intern to join our team. This internship provides an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in improving production efficiency, enforcing quality standards, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in managing production schedules and coordinating necessary services to optimize overall productivity.
  • Support the implementation and enforcement of quality control procedures to minimize defects and reduce waste.
  • Analyze current production processes and recommend improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle time.
  • Observe and evaluate employee workflows and tasks, suggesting process adjustments or tool implementations to improve performance.
  • Collect and interpret data related to production output, labor utilization, and operational efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (engineering, quality, operations) to support lean manufacturing initiatives.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, and documentation to communicate findings and improvement proposals.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); experience with CAD, Minitab, or similar tools is a plus.
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles and process improvement methodologies (e.g., Six Sigma, 5S).
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php1,000.00 per week
