Solutions Designer

Functions:Product Solutions Designer/Managers are responsible for the development and delivery of new products and services, as well as improvements to existing ones. They manage the product design and development team, creating processes and mechanisms to support the team. They are key members of cross-functional product development and delivery teams, which typically include engineers, technologists, and representatives from marketing, finance, and quality assurance.
Product leads liaise with different members of the development team to drive projects forward. Product Solutions Designers/Managers must be customer-centered and possess relevant technology know-how to develop a good "product-market" fit. They work with Product Owners to understand customer needs through research, data analysis, A/B testing, and direct customer communication.
They facilitate product specifications and user stories, and are responsible for defining the customer experience via mock-ups and wireframes. They collaborate with Product Owners to prioritize features, presenting trade-offs and risks. They work with Technology Leads/Managers and engineers to agree on architecture and discuss trade-offs.
They coordinate with Test Leads/Managers to handle edge cases and customer-side scenarios. Project management skills are essential to bring products to completion on time and within budget. They develop schedules for each development phase, monitor progress, and set up reviews to ensure objectives are met from concept to launch.
Good communication skills are necessary to interact with various stakeholders. They liaise with senior management to align on strategic objectives and secure budgets, and coordinate the work of different specialists within the team. Qualifications:Candidates may come from technical or business backgrounds but must have a strong technical ability, including reading source code.
Experience in product/software development, design, or digital marketing is beneficial. They should demonstrate effective teamwork and successful results. Experience working within multidisciplinary teams to meet strategic goals is important.
A strong background in process and business operations is desirable.
