Your role:

• As an SME for Asset Accounting Operations you are responsible for providing expertise and guidance within the Asset Accounting organization.
• This role requires knowledge in the entire asset accounting process, from acquisition to disposal leading to the reporting, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• As an SME you collaborate with various departments to ensure accuracy, and quality financial reporting.
• Develop and implement guidelines and procedures for the effective management of assets throughout their lifecycle in coordination with Functional Solutions team and in accordance with the Accounting guidelines.
• Monitor overarching Asset Accounting related topics and processes on a regular basis to ensure process complies with existing Internal Controls and identify any issues or potential gaps.
• Develop and implement controls to safeguard the accuracy and integrity of asset-related data
• Provide training and support to team members of asset accounting on processes and procedures.
• Stay up to date in asset accounting management technology and recommend system enhancements.
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and efficiencies in asset accounting operations in collaboration with the operations team and team leads also with Business Excellence team.
• Main point of contact in conducting User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for various ERP projects where Asset Accounting is involved.
• Provides support during Internal and External Audits related to Asset Accounting and ensure compliance to Audit recommendations.
• Any other SME duties as aligned with the Supervisor/Manager.

Who you are:

• Degree in Finance, Accountancy or any related discipline.
• Knowledgeable in end-to-end process of Asset Accounting; preferably with 1-3 working experience in the area of Asset Accounting or General Accounting.
• Working eExperience in a Global Business Services is preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office
• Knowledgeable in ERP Systems (e.g SAP, Oracle)
• Must be amenable to work on a Day, Mid or Nigh Shift.
