Tagalog Linguists Specialist

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are seeking Tagalog Linguists to participate in a groundbreaking AI training and language evaluation project.

In this role, you will work on evaluating, categorizing, and labeling Tagalog-language data—including text, audio, and video content—to help improve multilingual AI understanding. You will play a key role in ensuring that AI systems can accurately process and respond in natural Tagalog, maintaining linguistic nuance and cultural integrity.

This is a part-time, remote opportunity with flexible hours, ideal for linguists, translators, or annotators looking to contribute to meaningful advancements in AI technology.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Evaluate Tagalog-language text and audio content for linguistic accuracy, tone, and contextual relevance.
• Review and annotate AI-generated prompts and responses for quality and accuracy.
• Perform audio/speech data analysis, including transcription and labeling tasks.
• Identify and report translation errors, contextual inconsistencies, or formatting issues.
• Follow detailed project guidelines to ensure precision and consistency in labeling.
• Provide structured linguistic feedback to support continuous AI model improvement.
• Log work hours and task progress accurately using project management tools (e.g., Kanban).
• Collaborate remotely with project leads and quality assurance reviewers.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Native-level fluency in Tagalog
• Strong English proficiency (reading and writing)
• Experience as a linguist, annotator, reviewer, or evaluator preferred
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to adhere to complex labeling instructions
• Comfortable working with text, audio, and video content
• Technically proficient and able to use online collaboration tools
• Reliable internet connection and personal computer for remote work
• Immediate availability preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: Php Php850.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
