Cashier (Reliever)

Our Lady of the Pillar Medical Center invites competent individuals to fill the Cashier ( Reliever) position.

EDUCATION

• Graduate of any four-year course.

TECHNICAL (SKILLS)

• Collects the exact amount of payment based on the charges and the system.
• Deducts specified discounts for the out-patient transaction such as Senior Citizen discounts, PWD, employees' discounts, stockholders' discounts, etc.
• Applies the payments to the charges on the system.
• Responsible for all incoming and outgoing transactions, payments, and refunds respectively.
• Issues official receipts upon payment.
• Segregates and safely keeps all Professional Fee (PF) slips to be forwarded to Cashiering Supervisor.
• Remits the actual total amount of collection per shift on a daily basis.
• Accountable for the safekeeping of their revolving fund.
• Explains to the patient the bill forwarded by Billing Department and the balances to be paid.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• With or without experience but willing to learn.
