As Vice President of Global Accounting, you will be fully responsible for the planning, organization, and execution of the company's global accounting and compliance efforts. You will be responsible for understanding international accounting and financial management trends, developing and overseeing global accounting policies, leading the multinational accounting team, and ensuring transparency, compliance, and high quality of the company's financial reporting. This position requires a strong accounting and finance background and exceptional leadership skills to ensure that accounting management creates long-term value and competitive advantage for the company.

Key Responsibilities

Accounting Strategy and Policy Development

Develop and implement the company's global accounting strategy, ensuring alignment with the company's overall financial and business objectives;

Lead the harmonization of global accounting policies and standards, and promote compliance in a multi-standard environment, including IFRS and US GAAP.

Financial Reporting and Compliance Management

Oversee the preparation and disclosure of global financial statements, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance;

Manage the audit process and coordinate with external auditors to ensure compliant and transparent financial operations.

Global Accounting Operations and Process Optimization

Establish and optimize accounting processes and internal control systems to enhance the efficiency and risk management capabilities of global financial operations;

Promote the use of automation, shared services, and digital tools in accounting processes.

Multinational Team Building and Leadership

Responsible for the global accounting team's structural design, talent recruitment, training, and performance management;

Build an international, efficient, and professional accounting team, ensuring smooth collaboration across multiple regions.

Risk Management and Tax Compliance

Identify and assess financial and accounting risks, and establish effective monitoring and prevention mechanisms;

Collaborate with the tax department to ensure global tax compliance and optimization.

Cross-departmental Collaboration and Strategic Support

Work closely with financial planning, treasury management, and business units to provide accounting support and financial insights;

Support and drive the accounting and financial integration of mergers and acquisitions, investments, and other strategic projects.

Requirements

Educational Background

Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting, financial management, economics, or a related field preferred;

Certified Public Accountant (CPA), Chartered Accountant (ACA/ACCA), or equivalent international certification preferred.

Work Experience

12+ years of accounting or financial management experience;

At least 5+ years of accounting management or leadership experience within a multinational or large enterprise.

Core Skills

Proficient in international accounting standards such as IFRS and US GAAP, as well as multi-regional accounting policies;

Solid financial analysis, reporting, and compliance management skills;

Familiarity with ERP systems and digital accounting tools;

Excellent cross-border communication, project management, and team leadership skills.

Clear logic, with excellent analytical and decision-making skills;

High sense of responsibility and execution, able to achieve goals under high-pressure conditions;
