Role Summary

The Senior Automation Engineer will design, develop, and maintain automation solutions across Microsoft Power Automate, Microsoft Copilot AI, Microsoft 365, SQL Server, and AccessAPS. The role focuses on building efficient workflows, integrating data sources, and enabling AI-driven content generation to support internal operational processes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, optimise, and maintain workflows using Microsoft Power Automate.
  • Integrate automation solutions with AccessAPS and SQL Server for data extraction and processing.
  • Leverage Microsoft Copilot AI for narrative interpretation, content generation, and enhancing workflow intelligence.
  • Implement notifications, communication flows, and document handling using Microsoft 365 (Email, Teams, SharePoint).
  • Ensure automation reliability, accuracy, and alignment with business requirements.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, troubleshoot issues, and refine solutions.
  • Maintain documentation for workflows, integrations, and automation procedures.

Qualifications

Required:

  • Minimum 7 years experience in automation engineering or a related field.
  • Strong expertise with Microsoft Power Automate (complex flows, integrations, connectors).
  • Hands-on experience with AccessAPS, including workflow or data integration.
  • Proficiency with SQL Server (queries, data extraction, direct integration).
  • Practical use of Microsoft Copilot AI for automation, content generation, or configuration.
  • Solid understanding of Microsoft 365 applications used for workflow automation.

Familiarity (Advantageous but Not Required):

  • Experience with similar practice management systems or enterprise workflow platforms.
  • Exposure to broader AI-driven automation frameworks or tools beyond Copilot.
