BIM Specialist

Primary Job Responsibilities

· Setup a Revit project and upload it to BIM360

· Copy/Monitor the architectural scope boxes, grid lines and level

· Import/Link the CAD files if Revit file is not available on the project

· Setup the Title block on the project

· Setup Keynotes needed for each discipline

· Setup sheets for Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing

· Clean up architectural background

· Import/Load families needed for MEP

· Reuploading updated Architectural Background and relinking it on the MEP model

· Publishing the Revit model after submission if client asked for a copy

· Export Sheet index if requested

MEP Skill-Set:

· Able to read and understand MEP plan mark-ups.

· Knowledgeable on modeling lighting and power layout.

· Knowledgeable on creating lighting fixture and electrical fixture families.

· Knowledgeable on modeling HVAC layout.

· Knowledgeable on creating mechanical equipment, duct fittings, and air terminal families.

· Knowledgeable on modeling plumbing layout.

· Knowledgeable on creating plumbing fixture, pipe accessories and pipe fitting families.

· Knowledgeable on doing isometric drawing in Revit/CAD.

· REVIT

· Knowledgeable on project setup.

· Knowledgeable on using 3rd party application for Revit.

· Knowledgeable on using Dynamo to automate task in Revit.

· Accurately and timely produces design elements consistent with project specifications

· Accurately and timely produces design elements in accordance with the project hours, scope & parameters

· Follows established work rules, policies and procedures

· Actively engages with other members of the company to continuously strive to improve processes, create efficiencies and reduce costs

· Cooperatively takes on other duties, roles or responsibilities as assigned

· Attend internal project meetings

Requirements

· Knowledge of engineering drafting standards

· Knowledge of US Building Codes/Standards (Or willingness to learn)

· Knowledge and utilization of company/national office & design standards

· General knowledge of MEP disciplines

· Demonstrable understanding of construction process and interpretation of construction drawings

· Advanced knowledge of AutoCAD and Revit

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills

· Work from office for up to 6 months

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php65,000.00 per month
