Medical Scribe

About the Role:

Staffing for Doctors is seeking a detail-oriented and dedicated Medical Scribe to join our healthcare team. This role is critical for assisting providers by documenting patient interactions during examinations and consultations, allowing them to focus on delivering high-quality care. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of medical terminology, excellent listening and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced medical environment.

Responsibilities:

• Document patient encounters accurately and efficiently in real-time during consultations.
• Assist healthcare providers by preparing charts, gathering relevant patient history, and updating electronic health records (EHR).
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality.
• Collaborate with clinical staff to ensure accurate and informative patient documentation.
• Review and edit clinical notes and summaries as needed.
• Support providers by managing tasks related to patient care, such as follow-up documentation and test results.

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a live medical scribe or in a clinical documentation role is required.
• Strong understanding of medical terminology and healthcare processes.
• Excellent typing and transcription skills, with high accuracy.
• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work efficiently under pressure.
• Good communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with medical professionals.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times.
