The Production Engineer studies and determines the most effective ways to use the machines, people, and energy to increase productivity within the manufacturing facility while reducing waste materials.

Specific Responsibilities

· Provides improvement on areas in the production line.

· Identifies all critical areas in the production line that needs improvement that could increase efficiency, ease of operation and ensures the quality of products.

· Conducts time studies and provides proposals for improvement and implementation.

· Facilitates the implementation of the proposals and training of the participating personnel.

· Monitors the effectiveness of the proposed improvements and creates revisions when needed.

· Integrates Production reports.

· Familiarizes and identifies redundant processes in encoding and gathering of data.

· Formulates integration of common reports for easy access and ease of operation

· Monitors the effectiveness and revises it when needed.

· Gathers all documented procedures of the Production, Tooling and Fabrication, Maintenance and Material Preparation

· Ensures that all workflow and details stipulated in the procedures are implemented and generates revisions when needed.

· Facilitates the routing and orientation of the revised procedures to affected personnel.

· Revises procedures when the process owner requests for further revisions.

· Consolidates all procedures and makes it readily available when needed.

· Serves as Internal audit quality systems program from audit planning, implementation, feedback, and re-audit as required.

· Inspects, monitors and records report quality data for production operations to ensure work details are implemented according to the procedure.

· Design control systems to coordinate activities and production planning to ensure that product meet quality standards.

Other Job Duties

· Monitors production line in the absence of the production heads

· Purchases items for the production line during emergency or unplanned situations

Qualifications

· A graduate of Industrial Engineering with 1 year of experience in the same field is an advantage. Open for FRESH GRADUATES

· Good Communication & Leadership Skills

· Excellent analytical and organizational skills

· Strong Data gathering and Critical Thinking

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy in verifying benefits and other documentation/support.

· Flexibility and adaptability to work in a fast-paced environment.

· Ability to adapt to many environments and interact with a diverse group of individuals.

· Able to accept criticism and deal calmly and effectively with high stress situations.
