We're looking for Permit Coordinator that thrive in fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and take pride in managing essential administrative tasks that support our clients' permitting and application workflows.

In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring a smooth, timely, and accurate flow of permit submissions, while also supporting related steps in the permitting process, such as documentation, follow-ups, and compliance checks. Success in this position means achieving established program Key Performance Indicators and working closely with Program Team Leads to deliver efficient, high-quality results. You will coordinate and submit permit applications across multiple jurisdictions, track and manage permit statuses to ensure deadlines are met, communicate with internal teams and external stakeholders—including city departments and inspectors—and ensure all documentation meets required standards and compliance guidelines.

What you will do as a Permit CoordinatorReview, prepare, submit, and receive permit application packages in accordance with jurisdictional requirements and support the application throughout its lifecycle.Coordinate payments, communicate with internal parties to facilitate proper jurisdictions comments/revisions, record corrections and update database(s) for process improvement, and collaborate to streamline team processes.Ensure high quality of submissions (and approval rates) by staying up to date on all solar submission processes and AHJ requirementsAdhere to established schedule as designated by leadership.Maintain professionalism and responsiveness in workplace and online communications.Make meaningful contributions in all weekly meetings (1x1's and team huddles) by maintaining engagement through questions and responses.Live by and promote the ClearSource Core Values (Customer First, Personal Accountability, Humble Courage, Hungry, Happy and Healthy).What We're Looking ForCollege Level1 year Permit Coordinator experience from any US Solar CompanyExperience in permit applications for AHJs in California.
