Welder

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Welder to join our team. The Welder will be responsible for assembling pieces of metal together or repairing damage in metal components using heavy machinery that emits high heat. The ideal candidate must be competent in using potentially dangerous equipment following all safety precautions.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical documents.
• Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment (e.g., MIG, TIG, Stick, or Arc welding).
• Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a welding procedure specification (WPS).
• Operate angle grinders and other tools to prepare and finish welds.
• Inspect welded surfaces and structure to discover flaws.
• Maintain equipment in a condition that does not compromise safety.
• Follow all company safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization in the welding area.

• Proven experience as a welder or similar role.
• Knowledge of welding techniques, equipment, and safety standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and drawings.
• Proficient in using electrical or manual tools (grinders, saws, etc.).
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination.
• High school diploma or equivalent; vocational training or certification in welding is a plus.
• Welding certification (AWS or equivalent) preferred.

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
• Capable of standing, bending, and stooping for long periods.
• Comfortable working in high-temperature environments and confined spaces.
