Façade CAD Technician 3

Role and Responsibilities:

• Assist Job Captain in managing and leading drafting teams, manage workload and prioritize tasks to ensure project milestones are met.
• Coordinate with technical director, project managers, CADD technicians to understand project requirements and expectations and to ensure project success.
• Observe collaboration with architects, engineers and glazing contractors to develop detailed facade drawings.
• Review and verify the accuracy / constructability of construction documents.
• Develop detailed drawings for facade components, including connections, joints, anchorage systems, and interface details. This also includes scope and surrounding structure plans, elevations and sections using CAD software.
• Develop fabrication tickets, tag elevations / plans, and materials take off of façade components.
• Conducts quality checks of shop drawings and fabrication tickets to verify accuracy, completeness and compliance with internal and client standards, project requirements and applicable industry standards.
• Provide technical support and assistance to team members. Identify and troubleshoot design issues or challenges during the drafting process, proposing solutions to Job Captain or Project Manager.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of CAD drawings, revisions, and project communication for future reference and auditing purposes.
• Stay updated on industry trends and standards, technological advancements, and emerging techniques related to façade design and drafting.
• Propose new knowledge into workflows to enhance productivity and quality; contributing to the development of innovative drafting techniques / standards of the team.

Façade CAD Technician 2

Role and Responsibilities:

o Support Job Captain and CAD Technicians

• Assist CAD Technician 3 and Job Captain in the execution of drafting tasks, focusing on delivering assigned components of projects.
• Follow the lead of higher-level technicians, Job Captain and Project Managers in managing workload and meeting deadlines.

o Coordinate with Team Members:

• Collaborate with CAD Technician 3 and team members to understand specific project details and drafting requirements.
• Provide basic technical support and seek guidance from higher-level technicians on complex issues.

o Develop Drafting Details:

• Prepare basic façade drawings, including plans, elevations, sections, and simple details using CAD software.
• Assist in the drafting of connections, joints, and simple interface details, based on guidelines provided by senior technicians.

o Assist in Documentation and Verification:

• Assist in the review of construction documents for accuracy and consistency.
• Support the team by ensuring that revisions are properly documented and that updates to CAD drawings are consistent with project guidelines.

o Support Fabrication and Tagging Processes:

• Assist in tagging façade components on plans and elevations under supervision.
• Support the team in preparing materials take-off, with guidance from senior technicians.

o Ensure Drafting Standards Compliance:

• Follow established drafting standards and internal procedures to ensure consistent quality and accuracy.
• Participate in quality checks of shop drawings, fabrication tickets, and reports under supervision.

o Learning and Development:

• Stay engaged with updates in industry practices, CAD software advancements, and façade technologies.
• Seek opportunities to expand knowledge in façade drafting by learning from senior staff.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

o At least 5 years of experience in façade design and project management

o Proficiency in AutoCAD software is a must.

o Proficiency on other relevant drafting tools (Revit, Rhino, Inventor, etc.) is a plus.

o Exceptional attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

o Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php35, Php60,000.00 per month
