What is the job?

The
Senior Accountant
manages day-to-day accounting operations, ensures GAAP compliance, and supports timely and accurate financial reporting. The role oversees month-end close activities, reconciliations, audits, and process improvements to maintain financial integrity.

Responsibilities:


• Prepares and reconciles general ledger, bank, and balance sheet accounts; manages monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.


• Reviews, verifies, and posts accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions to ensure accuracy.


• Maintains audit-ready documentation and supports internal and external audits while ensuring US GAAP and policy compliance.


• Identifies and implements process improvements and uses accounting systems to support efficient reporting and operations.

Qualifications:


• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.


• Minimum of three (3) years of professional accounting experience.


• CPA certification is preferred but not required.


• Proficient in QuickBooks and Microsoft Excel; applies US GAAP principles to reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close activities.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.


• Effective communicator who manages multiple deadlines and collaborates well in a fast-paced environment.


• Must have stable employment history.
