What we're looking for

We are looking for a trustworthy and responsive Cashier who oversees the cashier staff and overall function of the canteen. A team player who will be responsible for ensuring accurate computation of the entire invoice on the basis of goods and services acquired by customers.

Responsibilities

  • Created a positive atmosphere by greeting and assisting customers and responding to customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Calculate total payments received during a time period and reconcile with total sales.
  • Count money in cash drawers at the beginning of shifts to ensure that amounts are correct and that there is adequate change.
  • Regularly communicated with cashiers and assisted with restocking, shelving all product displays and mark prices of items displayed.
  • Balance all cashiers, cash boxes at the end of the shift and ensure all payments are tallied.
  • Ensure that the processing of merchandize movements assigned to cashiers are accurate and documented at all times including returns and exchanges in coordination with Purchasing
  • Itemizes total the purchases by recording prices, taxes/ non-taxable items, operating a cash register and payment of company bills thru cash, vouchers or checks.
  • Submit Monthly Financial Summary and assist with resolving any variances or findings with Accounting Team

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php600.00 per day
