Parts Expiditer

Job description:

Inventory Management

• Receive, inspect, and record incoming automotive parts, tools, and supplies.
• Ensure proper storage, labeling, and organization of parts in the warehouse or stockroom.
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile variances with system records.
• Monitor stock levels and coordinate with Parts Supervisor for replenishment needs.

Issuance & Documentation

• Issue parts and materials to technicians, service advisors, or sales staff as requested.
• Maintain accurate logs and documentation for all incoming and outgoing parts.
• Ensure all withdrawals and issuances follow proper authorization procedures.

Maintenance & Safety

• Safeguard inventory against loss, damage, or theft by maintaining proper storage practices.
• Ensure cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom or warehouse area.
• Comply with safety and environmental standards in handling automotive parts and materials.

Coordination & Support

• Coordinate with Procurement and Service Departments for parts availability and timely deliveries.
• Provide assistance to service technicians regarding parts identification and availability.
• Support internal and external audits related to parts inventory.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or College level (vocational/technical background in automotive is an advantage).
• At least 1–2 years of experience in warehousing, inventory, or parts handling, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of automotive parts and components is an advantage
