Job Summary

  • Review payment request to ensure eligibility and proper documentation

  • Monitor the daily bank balance and follow up on check issuance

  • Verify the completeness and accuracy of sales orders

  • Ensure the accuracy of entries in Quickbooks for preparation of financial reports.

  • Prepare and analyze monthly reports, including BIR Expanded VAT, Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and Sales Report

  • Manage and provide day-to-day coaching to the Accounting Assistant

  • Perform other duties as assigned by the Immediate Superior as needed

Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Banking & Finance, Financial Management or a related field is required for this role

  • CPA preferred, but not required.

  • At least 3 years of demonstrable experience in a similar role, preferably in the petroleum Industry

  • Proficiency in MS Office Applications, QuickBooks and other Accounting Software

  • Strong leadership skills

  • Attention to details

  • Excellent communication and verbal skills

  • Availability to start ASAP
