Connecting. Growing together. This role involves performing network scans, assessing vulnerabilities identified during infrastructure scans, and coordinating with multiple teams and stakeholders for remediation.
Primary ResponsibilitiesAssist in updating process and procedure documents to enable effective Vulnerability Management programs. Alert customers based on zero-day, malware, or malicious advisories released. Maintain a good understanding of CIS, NIST, STIGS standards & guidelines, ITIL framework, and Change Management.
Protect data according to client requirements regarding compliance, vulnerability assessment, and application security. Prioritize vulnerabilities discovered along with remediation timelines. Interact with multiple global teams (security architecture, application security testing, infrastructure security, application development, Risk Officers, etc.).
Liaise with stakeholders regarding cybersecurity issues and provide future recommendations.Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits related to information security. Comply with employment contracts, company policies, procedures, and directives related to work environment and policies. Required QualificationsCertifications like CEH, OSCP, GPEN, or other security or IT platform certifications.3 years of end-to-end Vulnerability Management experience, including VM lifecycle, in on-premises infrastructure, application, and cloud security.
Experience providing recommendations and technical guidance throughout the vulnerability management lifecycle. Experience in vulnerability management and security threat modeling. Deep knowledge of Vulnerability Management Infrastructure Security.
Experience with vulnerability assessment tools like Rapid7, , Security Center, Nmap, Tanium, etc. Understanding of Policy Scans (CIS), Vulnerability Assessment Scans (Infrastructure and Application), and compliance scanning. Good understanding of IT Infrastructure and Application lifecycle management.
Knowledge of cloud providers like AWS, Azure, etc. Understanding of networking components such as firewalls, IDS, IPS, routers, switches. Experience in management and metrics reporting.
Ability to clearly communicate priorities and escalation procedures. Knowledge of Windows and Linux patching processes. Ability to monitor and improve customer satisfaction and service performance against SLAs.
Experience in automating vulnerability management lifecycle processes. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proven analytical and problem-solving skills.
