The Accounting Manager is responsible for leading and managing the accounting operations of Hertz Philippines. This role ensures accurate financial reporting, compliance with local regulatory requirements, and supports strategic financial planning. The Accounting Manager will oversee the accounting team, coordinate audits, and drive process improvements in line with company policies and global standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with PFRS and corporate guidelines. Ensure timely submission of financial reports. Monitor compliance with BIR regulations, SEC requirements, and other local statutory obligations.

Manage tax reporting and liaise with tax consultants/auditors for annual filings. General Ledger & ReconciliationOversee the general ledger and ensure accurate entries and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts. Manage month-end and year-end closing processes.

Internal Controls & AuditEstablish and monitor internal control procedures to safeguard company assets. Coordinate internal and external audits, and ensure timely resolution of audit findings. Lead, mentor, and develop the accounting team to ensure high performance and professional growth.

Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide continuous feedback. Budgeting & Forecasting SupportCollaborate with Finance and Operations teams to support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis activities. Process ImprovementIdentify opportunities to improve accounting processes and systems, drive automation, and enhance efficiency.
