About the role

We Hope Medical Clinic is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Head of Oncology (Consultant Medical Oncologist) to lead our oncology department. As a full-time position based in Naga City, Camarines Sur, you will play a crucial role in driving the strategic direction and clinical excellence of our oncology services.

What you'll be doing

• Providing comprehensive, evidence-based, and patient-centered oncology care to our patients
• Overseeing the day-to-day operations of the oncology department, including managing a team of oncology specialists
• Collaborating with other medical professionals to ensure seamless and coordinated care for our oncology patients
• Developing and implementing innovative treatment protocols and clinical guidelines to optimise patient outcomes
• Actively participating in multidisciplinary tumour boards and case conferences
• Fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional development within the oncology team
• Representing the oncology department in strategic planning and decision-making at the organisational level

What we're looking for

• A medical degree and specialist qualification in Medical Oncology
• Current medical registration with the Philippine Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) is required
• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Consultant Medical Oncologist, preferably in a leadership or supervisory role
• Demonstrated expertise in the management of a wide range of cancer types and treatment modalities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
• Strong clinical and analytical skills, with a commitment to evidence-based practice and continuous quality improvement
• Proven track record in developing and implementing innovative oncology programs and initiatives
• Passion for delivering exceptional patient-centred care and a genuine commitment to improving patient outcomes
