This is where you and your skills come in. We're currently looking for a Global Payroll Manager

We are looking to hire an exceptional Global Payroll Manager who can work effectively in a rapidly expanding work environment. The successful candidate will manage a high-performing team of payroll analysts and ensure accuracy in payroll processing. This role reports to the Sr. Manager, Global Payroll.

  • Global Payroll Processing. Responsible for global payroll processing using Workday HCM. Manage three cycles including commissions, biweekly, and semi-monthly payments. Prepare all termination checks and off-cycle payments. Manage and review payroll to ensure timely and accurate processing with strong data integrity consistent with federal, state, and local wage and hour laws. Ensure all payroll regulatory filings are completed accurately and on time. Conduct quarter/year-end reconciliation of payroll and stock transactions.

  • Manage Daily Operations. Collaborate to build and scale the payroll department, strengthen internal controls, and accurately manage day-to-day operations.

  • Review and Approve Payrolls. Set up and manage payroll in new states, provide input to payroll service providers, review, and approve payrolls.

  • Customer Service. Provide a high level of customer service to finance and non-finance business partners by offering financial insights and relevant reporting.

  • Manage Audit Requests. Support quarterly reviews and annual audit requests and inquiries from internal and external auditors.

  • Perform GL Month-end Closing Activities. Execute various GL month-end close activities, including preparation and review of journal entries and balance sheet reconciliations.

  • Apply and Maintain Tax Information. Apply for tax IDs in new jurisdictions and maintain tax information using ADP Smart Compliance. Experienced with various stock transactions related to payroll reporting and tax withholdings.

  • Handle Employee Inquiries. Respond to employee payroll inquiries with a sense of urgency, in a kind and empathetic manner, ensuring staff members' needs and concerns are addressed.

  • Building and Maintaining Pay Policies. Develop and maintain pay policies, payroll calendars, payroll checklists, process maps, and other procedural documentation, ensuring internal controls and procedures are followed to satisfy periodic review in compliance with local laws.

  • Cross-Functional Partnership. Experience working cross-functionally with business partners in HRIS, Benefits, Compensation, Stock, Finance, and Legal. Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas.

  • Handling of the Transition Data Files. Manage the transmission of data files for FSA, HSA & 401K plans.

  • Audit of Wage & Tax Registers. Conduct year-end audit of Wage & Tax Registers for accurate W2 and T4 processing.

To succeed in this role you must have the following:

  • 5+ years of proven payroll process experience in domestic/international payroll, preferably with Workday Payroll experience; CPP preferred

  • Good understanding of payroll processes, including payroll journal entries and GL account reconciliation

  • Working knowledge of payroll policies and procedures, including multi-state and federal pay and tax laws

  • Knowledge in Excel and Workday: Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Workday.

  • Organization and Multi-tasking Skills: Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and prioritizing skills.

  • Communication and Collaboration skills: Effective communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas. Strong verbal and written communication skills needed to interface and establish rapport with business partners of the organization.

  • Shift: Willing to work on night shift (US Hours).

  • Work set-up: Willing to work on a hybrid setup days in office per month, Cubao or Ortigas).
